My love for mountaineering started in Lake Louise where the North Face of Mt Temple (11,624 ft) towers over you. People come from all over the world to summit the 54 11,00ft peaks in the Rocky Mountains. Recently I have also been exploring the Alps. This summer I was lucky enough to guide Mt Blanc (15,782 ft) - the highest peak in Western Europe.

Although I love to travel, I am always drawn back to the mountains of Western Canada. There is something for everyone - alpine rock routes such as Brewer's Buttress on Castle Mountain and the Becky Chouinard Route in the Bugaboos, or snow and ice routes such as the Silverhorn on Mt Athabasca.
